Mobilize Service Summit 2017
On February 16, 2017, Educational Alliance’s Manny Cantor Center convened over 100 non-profit leaders from across New York City for an innovative idea exchange on how to leverage volunteerism to promote civic engagement, support the vunerable, and build cohesive strategies to serve our communities.
Co-sponsored by New York Cares, NYC Service, and UJA-Federation of New York, the Summit organized by our More Hands More Hearts volunteer program featured a panel discussion with veteran volunteers, Open Space group discussions, and a speaker series on service as advocacy.
See our Mobilize Service Summit program below and our Blueprint For Strategic Service for key takeaways, Open Space takeaway guide, and additional resources from our Summit partners.
This is only the start of the conversation. If you’d like to join the Mobilize Service conversation, either as a volunteer or a potential organizational partner, contact our Volunteer & Community Engagement Manager, Deb Scher at 646.395.4184 | firstname.lastname@example.org.
