A former US Marine Corps Sergeant and Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor, Max comes to our team with leadership experience under physically and mentally demanding conditions. After serving two tours as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom, he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science with a Minor in Psychology. While in school, he assisted with research in functional movement and gait.
His time spent in the military, in the classroom, and in the research lab helped Max develop an approach to training that combines intensity, practicality, and knowledge when working with clients in either a private or small group setting.
Max has a broad knowledge of Nutrition and Exercise sciences . He teaches his clients about nutrition, recovery and injury prevention. Max focuses on proper mechanics and proper exercise progression. He is passionate about this field and believes in continuous learning; he is currently working on his Masters degree at Columbia University. Max enjoys watching his clients reach their fitness goals, and is happy to know that he is helping make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
