Youth & Teen Community Art Classes in NYC
Kids and teens: Join us for courses in ceramics and comic and cartoon illustration.
Our Youth and Teen Art Courses indulge the creative curiosities of young artists. We invite students to delve into the decorative and functional aspects of creative practice inside a supportive group environment.
Offerings include: Youth Pottery (8-13 years of age) focuses on hand-building with clay, Teen Ceramics (Ages 14-18 years) allows students to develop their skills further in handbuilding while also introducing participants to the Potter’s Wheel, Youth Drawing (Ages 9-14) develops and strengthens the drawing ability of young students of all skill levels, Comics and Cartoon (Ages 8-13) gives students the time and resources to tell their own stories through sequential imagery. Supportive instruction and small class sizes allow for a personalized experience.
Classes feature:
- Materials including clay, tools, and glazes are included in tuition for ceramics courses.
- Open Studio is not included for youth and teen ceramic courses.
- No youth and teen courses when NYCDOE public schools are closed.
