MCC Fitness is now open at limited capacity! We have followed state and city guidelines and prepared processes to keep our capacity limited, and make our facility healthy and safe. Virtual Fitness Classes will remain available for those who are not yet comfortable working out with us in person, and in following with NYC guidelines.

Our Philosophy

Manny Cantor Center Fitness is where the Lower East Side community comes together to break a sweat, feel healthy, and work toward being our best selves every day. Members come to MCC Fitness for our diverse selection of classes—like yoga, Zumba™, and Pedal Power—and stay for basketball, strength equipment, and personal training. Older adults can take advantage of discounted memberships, and families can have fun and keep active with KidFit.


When you join our community, you get: 

ACCESS to our elite fitness professionals; instructors and personal trainers. Join us in person or virtually to get your fitness game back on track. We are offering distanced in-person training with separate sanitized equipment or virtual sessions, one-on-one, or in small groups. 

CARDIO, WEIGHT TRAINING, and FUNCTIONAL TRAINING equipment in a clean, safe environment 

  • All of our cardio equipment is spaced out to enable social distancing 
  • All equipment is sanitized between uses 
  • Masks are required at all times 
  • Join us in our recently modernized studio, featuring our power block and functional training stations, spaced out for distancing and privacy.  

UNLIMITED access to 25+ virtual group fitness classes each week. Come dance, sweat, and work on your core with formats like Masala Bhangra, Absolute Abs, and Iyengar Yoga.  

ACCESS to a library of workout and mindfulness practices from our partners at EXOS

Monday – Thursday | 7am – 8pm (7:15pm last reservation*)

Friday | 7am – 7pm (6:15pm last reservation*)

New Weekend Hours: 9:00am – 3:00pm
