Aiding Teens to Become Family’s First in College featured in The Wall Street Journal, April 24, 2014
Taking a page from his father’s philanthropy playbook, Sam Rosenblatt is helping a group of Lower East Side teens pursue a college dream with a gift of $1 million to the Educational Alliance.
Mr. Rosenblatt, 53 years old, is president of Olmstead Properties, a privately held real-estate firm based in New York. The gift, made with sisters Sarah Goos and Jill Gordon, will provide money toward an endowment for the Educational Alliance’s college-readiness program.
