Enrollment for parenting groups starting in October 2021 including Parenting Children with Special Needs, Parenting Discoveries and/or Bright Beginnings for Parents of Infants and Toddlers is now open. Space is limited and groups fill up quickly! Henry Street Settlement is also pleased to announce their Parent Center Team now offers 1-1 Parent Coaching, Brief Psychotherapy and/or Parent/Child Dyadic Therapy services for parents of children ages 0-5, as well as parents of school-age children and teens, on a limited basis. 1-1 short-term parenting support services (8-12 private/confidential sessions) are FREE and include a biopsychosocial comprehensive needs assessment and assistance with developing 2-3 personalized goals related to the unique challenges of parenting children at different ages/stages of a child’s development. These parenting services are offered in-person or online via Zoom.
