I would like to share my personal experience of participating in community programs for older adults. These gatherings—during Jewish holidays, Holocaust Remembrance Day, and New Year celebrations—bring joy and warmth into our lives. We not only enjoy sharing meals and conversations, but also find support and companionship, which are so important as we age. Additionally, trips to different parts of New York, New Jersey, and various cultural and educational programs help us stay active, broaden our horizons, and remain engaged in social life.
