Personal Trainer: Ricardo Thomas recommends Squats with medicine ball swings to not only engage your core but work your entire lower body and shoulders! To perform this exercise, follow these simple steps:
Step 1: position yourself with feet wider than shoulder width apart and toes pointed outwards.
Step 2. Go into a deep squat w back straight holding medicine ball , keep arms straight.
Step 3. As you come up, swing the ball up over your head making sure to keep elbows straight at all times and then come back to neutral.
Repeat these steps. Ricardo recommends 10 to 15 reps and 2 sets of these! Start with a light weight ball and progress to a heavier weight.
