Educational Alliance’s 2Gen @ MCC | Generations Learning Together

Introducing Educational Alliance’s 2Gen @ MCC | Generations Learning Together

At Educational Alliance’s 2Gen: Generations Learning Together, we know that we are stronger together and we can lift each other up through learning, advocacy, and community-building. Join us for workshops and individualized coaching in parenting, self-care, English language learning, citizenship support, career advancement, and higher learning. We believe that universal education is a necessary building block for strong communities, and that everyone should have the opportunity to lead a fulfilled and joyful life.

  • Fall English classes are starting now! Wish to learn English? The Adult ESOL Program provides a rich, immersive curriculum to Educational Alliance’s MCC community FOR FREE. In our ESOL program, you will receive an individualized learning plan to learn English in your own time and at your own pace. If you are planning to become a US citizen and want to prepare for the Naturalization Exam, we are also here to help.
  • At the parenting center, parents and caretakers will find resources, tips, ideas, and support for the trials and triumphs experienced in raising a child…because it takes a village. Together we will understand healthy social-emotional development in children, children’s behaviors, how to teach new behaviors and improve communication with our children ages 5 and under.
  • Educational Alliance has employment and career development services to address the needs of the communities of the Lower East Side, East Village, and greater Manhattan. We aim to help clients of all stages of life to secure lasting employment.
